Woke Fragility

White fragility is unfortunately both a book and a term that has entered the english lexicon.  In response, we offer up the term woke fragility.  As an endnote we'll leave these three quotes from Thomas Sowell, although he probably could have supplied a dozen relevant quotes as a critique of wokeness.  Remarkable for a man who was an avowed marxist in his youth.

""Social justice" can easily become class warfare that polarizes a nation, while leading those at the bottom into the blind alley of resentments, no matter how many broad avenues of achievement may be available to them."

 - Thomas Sowell

"Have we reached the ultimate stage of absurdity where some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, while other people are not held responsible for what they themselves are doing today?"

- Thomas Sowell

Emotions neither prove nor disprove facts. There was a time when any rational adult understood this. But years of dumbed-down education and emphasis on how people “feel” have left too many people unable to see through this media gimmick.

- Thomas Sowell
