It used to be that becoming a celebrity meant that you'd made it to the land of milk and honey. It still is, but now you've got to worry about army's of anonymous trolls with time on their hands pouring through everything you've done or said, often before you were a celebrity, for anything that doesn't conform with an increasingly stricter set of ideological constraints on behaviour. In many cases the offending act would not have been considered a faux pas in the era in which it happened. When news of whatever it is spreads online by puritanical wokers, the individual is usually shamed online, ostrasized by his fellow celebrities, and faces career ruin.
"Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her"
